The Details
Chown was initiated by Chown Memorial United Church, now known as Chown Memorial and Chinese United Church in answer to the need for daily care and social activities for the seniors in our community who have chronic health problems. We are provided with reasonably priced program space in the Chown Memorial and Chinese United Church.
Local community members on the board of Chown determine its Mission and guide its activities according to the Vision they have established. Chown has the support of many volunteers. Most of these are members of the immediate community who have a keen interest in maintaining the quality of their community service.
