Practicum Placements

L'Chaim welcomes practicum placements.

Supervisor:

Annica Carlsson, L'Chaim Administrator

Annica has worked with seniors for the past 16 years in the Jewish community and has extensive experience supervising staff and students. Students from the following programs have been supervised at L'Chaim:

• Kwantlen University College
• Nursing Program, Langara College
• Human Kinetics, UBC
• Sun Circle Elder Care Program
  

Practicum Expectations:

We are happy to accept students with a mature attitude, a working knowledge of English, an understanding empathy with the issues of aging, strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Programs are expected to provide supervision and evaluation in addition to what is offered at L'Chaim.
